Open Microsoft Outlook 2007
Select “Tools” from the menu at the top of the window
Select “Account Settings” from the drop down window
Select the “New…” button from the left side of the window
Select “Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP”
Select “Next”
Type your name in the blank beside “Your Name:”
Type your e-mail address in the blank beside “E-mail Address:”
Type your password in the blank beside “Password:”
Type your password in the blank beside “Retype Password:”
NOTE:Your username is your email address!!!!
Select “Next”
Select “Next”
Select “Finish”
Single-click your email address in the window
Select the “Change…” button from the top of the window
Be sure the blank beside “Incoming mail server:” reads “pop.batesvillecomputing.com”
If not, type “pop.batesvillecomputing.com” into the blank
Be sure the blank beside “Outgoing mail server (SMTP):” reads “smtp.batesvillecomputing.com”
If not, type “smtp.batesvillecomputing.com” into the blank
Select “More Settings…” from the bottom of the window
Type your e-mail address in the blank next to “Reply E-mail”
Select the “Outgoing Server” tab from the top of the window
Be sure that “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” is checked
Select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”
Select the “Advanced” tab from the top of the window
Highlight the blank next to “ Outgoing server (SMTP)” and type “587”
Select “OK”
Select “Next”
Select “Finish”
Select “Close”
Select the “Send/Receive” button from the top of the window to receive messages
